Bottega lombarda (Milano?), terzo quarto del XVIII secolo; inizi del XIX; post 1812? Pyx
The pyx has a base with a circular section with a swollen foot decorated with ribs, then repeated both on the node and on the shaped lid. The smooth cup and the cross pediment with trefoil endings contribute to the sobriety of the decoration
Coming from the Milanese basilica of Santa Maria della Passione, the pyx dates back to the third quarter of the 18th century: on the foot there is a stamp that is difficult to identify.
